Edward Kostra Obituary

Edward J. Kostra, age 87, of Streamwood, IL, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lynn Kuehne; grandchildren, Craig (Kristy) Kuehne and Katie (Sean) Freed; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruby Gail Kostra.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. Visitation will be on Saturday, at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. service.
Edward was loyal Alumni of Rose-Hulman and was very supportive and active with the school and events. He was also a very proud Mechanical Engineer and attended Rose-Hulman on a football scholarship. Edward was a wonderful father and grandfather whom was SWEET, CALM, CARING, SUPPORTIVE and KIND HEARTED. He will be so dearly missed! www.kishfuneralhome.net
