Edward Francis Lang, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at the age of 86. Ed was born on November 16th, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ed was the devoted husband of Anna Marie Dyar Lang, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage since their union on September 18, 1965. Together, they raised a loving family, including their sons, Steve Lang and Mitchell Lang, along with his wife Jessica. Ed was also the proud grandfather of Ethan Lang, who brought immense joy to his life. Ed is survived by his sisters, Betty Sherlock (Bob), Carole Prawdzik (Tom), and Elaine Schott, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James J. Lang and Marie Schaad Lang, his daughter, Dawn Lang, his brother, Jimmy Lang, and his brother-in-law, Ralph "Butch" Schott.
Graduate of Waterford High School, Ed went on to serve his country with honor in the Army Reserves for six years. He was a Chemical Operator at GE Plastics, from which he eventually retired. Ed was a farmer all of his life and after retirement, he really enjoyed farming with Todd Schott and Jack Eichmiller.
Abiding with his wishes, he has been cremated. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Private graveside services will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park.
