With the heaviest of hearts, Edward J. McMahon, age 77, of Merrimac, passed on October 5, 2025, at Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport.
Ed was a Veteran of Vietnam having served from October 13, 1966 until his honorable discharge on July 18, 1969. He was a loving brother, a great uncle, a lover of bowling, and a passion for coins.
Widowed by his wife of 35 years, Dianne McMahon, who passed of cancer on October 10, 2022, they are now together forever in Heaven.
He leaves behind his step-children, Shaunna, Michael, and Don; his sister, Andrea; his nieces and nephews, Jared and his partner Amanda and their son Maverick, and Megan.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA. All are welcome to attend. A private graveside service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully ask for donations to the MSPCA, in memory of Edward J. McMahon.
