Edward Otto Miiller II (1948-2025)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Otto Miiller II, who departed this life peacefully on September 6th, 2025. He was surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 3rd, 1948 and lived a life devoted to his family. You could always find him coaching baseball or football. He loved awakening the joy and discipline that sports could bring to the lives of everyone, but especially the youth. He was a fierce patriot and loved this country to his core and he poured just as much love into his family, his friends and his work. But the one thing that he was most passionate about was his love of travel and music and the one person that was by his side through it all, Mrs. Patti. One of his last conversations was reminiscing about all of his favorite places they saw together when they got to travel the world.
Although Edwards’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit, and all of his life lessons, will continue to live on. Edward wasn’t just survived by a few family and friends, he was survived by every single life he touched along the way as they carry his memory with them through their lives.
To honor his legacy, Edward chose not to have a service or memorial, but instead he would want anyone who knew him to think of him while they went and bought the plane ticket to undiscovered destinations, hopped in the car for a random road trip, or went and saw a band or orchestra that played music to their soul. He would want all of you to know that life is an adventure that YOU have to choose, so get to living, because life is too short.
