Edward Molinelli Obituary

Born on November 7, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY, Ed was the son of Edward and Shirley Molinelli. He built a long and respected career in the car industry and devoted 20 years of service as a dedicated councilman for the Town of Marlboro. His commitment to the community extended further through his involvement with UNICO, where he formed many lasting friendships.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Ed could often be found cheering on his beloved Mets and Giants. He also enjoyed spending his time bowling and playing Bocce, activities that brought him joy and camaraderie throughout the years.
Ed is survived by his sons, Matthew (Amanda) Molinelli of Albany and Jerry (Shannon) Molinelli of Newburgh; his four grandchildren, Jeremy (Valeria), Gianna, Matthew, and Michael; and his great-grandson, Matteo. He is also survived by his sister, Cathy (Frank) Mannese, along with several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kaplan Hospice Residence for providing compassionate care to Ed.
A memorial service will be held on Monday December 1, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 pm officiated by Deacon Vincent Porcelli at the DiDonato Funeral Home 1290 Route 9W Marlboro NY
