Eddie, a beloved son, brother, nephew, and cousin, passed from this life into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 12, 2025, at the age of 26, in Pass Christian, MS.
Born on October 1, 1999, in Biloxi, MS.
Eddie was a proud Pass Christian Pirate, graduating from Pass Christian High School, May 12, 2019.
Eddie brought joy and light to all who knew him with his gentle spirit, infectious smile, and childlike wonder. Though he faced challenges in this world, his pure heart and unwavering love reflected the beauty of a soul deeply cherished by God and family. Edward found great delight in the simple joys of life. He loved creating colorful sidewalk chalk art. He eagerly anticipated Crusin’ the Coast each year, thrilled by the sight and sound of classic cars rolling down the highway. And nothing excited him more than the roar and power of a monster truck. Oh and I can’t forget his favorite TV show, Spider-man man! His favorite place to hang out was at Paw Paw and Nene’s, Monty and Gail Baxter of Gulfport, MS.
He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Jean Morgan, Grandmothers, Patricia Lerch and Wanda Powe Morgan. Grandfather, Steverson T. Morgan Jr., Shelia Morgan (Aunt) Steve A. Morgan (Uncle), and others who await him in heaven.
Eddie is survived by his father, John T. Morgan of Pass Christian, MS; his Brother James Morgan (Lavonna) of Biloxi, MS, his sister, Wanda (Branden) Strong of Tennessee; brother, Jonathan Morgan of Pass Christian MS, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.
In the words of Scripture that brought comfort to his family, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8, KJV). Edward’s innocent faith and tender spirit have carried him safely home, where there is no more pain or sorrow, only the fullness of joy in the presence of his Lord.
Eddie will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the love he gave so freely and the lessons of kindness, patience, and joy he taught without words.
