Edward Timothy Ormond

Edward Timothy Ormond, born on February 10, 1962, in Charleston, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the age of 63.
Edward dedicated over three decades of his professional life to the United Parcel Service, where he had the privilege of traveling across the globe, forming bonds and friendships that transcended borders.
In his personal life, Edward held a deep affection for his cherished 1973 Camaro and found joy in activities such as building model airplanes and rockets. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, often sharing captivating stories of his adventures with those he loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Edward Ormond, Jr. and Judy Gaynelle Lee Ormond. He leaves behind a loving family: his son, Edward Conor Ormond of Wilmington, a sister, Vicky Corpuz, and a nephew, Jadon Ormond, both of Fayetteville, North Carolina. His faithful dogs, Lindberg and Wogdon, were constant companions who brought him much joy.
A private celebration of Edward's life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers in his memory.
