Edward Owens

Edward Owens born November 27, 1959 departed this life on Thursday – March 5, 2026 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center being 66-years old. Edward was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Charles Owens and the late Dellie Collins. Other than his parents, Edward was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Fred Owens, Johnny Owens, and Bobby Turner; niece, Martha Owens.

Edward Owens leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: two sons: Christopher Owens and Wesley Owens; mother of children: Teresa Owens; girlfriend: Mossie Smith and step children, Ricky Smith, Jr., Edith Mullins & Johnny and Patty Smith; step grandchildren: Kylee, Alley, Ricky Lee, Brian, and Alex; three brothers: Bill Owens & Rita, James Turner & Shonda, and Greg Herald & Crystal; two sisters: Mary Neace & Tim, and Rose Herald; nephews: William, Josh, Scotty, Billy, Cameron, Gavin, Will, Dustin, Dakota, and Noah; nieces: Natasha, Crystal, Haley, Katessa, Brooklyn, Katelynn; and a host of special nieces and nephews; sister-in-law: Donna Back; special pet: Gizmo; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Edward Owens will be conducted on Tuesday – March 10, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Tommy Baker speaking. The interment will follow in the Spencer Family Cemetery in Cornettsville, Kentucky. The visitation will be held on Monday – March 9, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
