I am sorry I am unable to attend his memorial this Saturday. He was such a good friend and valued member of our walking group. Sharing a photo from August 31, 2024 at NY Botanical Garden. He is truly missed.

He will always be remembered by me for his affable and welcoming presence, full of ideas and helpful suggestions. He made you feel at home. He will be sorely missed.

I got to know Ed through my Meetup group. We became good friends, and he was like a brother to me. I enjoyed the hikes and walks we took with the group. I am devastated to hear of his passing. Sending my deepest sympathy to his family.

Edward was indeed a kind soul and always gracious to me and my family. We will miss him.

I had a couple of classes with Ed, mostly freshman and sophomore year at Prep. The man never said a bad word about anyone. And if he didn't greet you with smile on his face, something was terribly wrong. It is gratifying to know he became a counsellor, and a father. I can't imagine a better person for either gig.

Rest in peace, my friend.

I remember Ed's eccentricity, his confidence in that eccentricity. That's what made him likable to me. He just didn't give a rip. We sat at the same table at prom. Good times. Fair winds, Ed.
