Edward Phipps Obituary
Mr. Phipps is survived by his wife, Wanda Staley Phipps; three children, Charlie Phipps, Edward Phipps and Tonya White (David Mace); two brothers, Carl Claiborne Phipps (Linda) and Steve Hopson Phipps (Joye); one sister, Betty Jean Greenhill; four grandchildren, Charlie Phipps, Mackenzie Phipps, Ember Phipps and Emmett Phipps.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, December 20, 2025 at F.I.T. Community Church by the Pastor Brad Wesley. Burial will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2PM Saturday prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Luke Rigsbee, Dave Chulla, Tom Grizzard, Marrio Johnson, John Lundeen and Mark Crute.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 301 Hawthorne Lane, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28204.
