Edward "Eddie" Prunty

Edward "Eddie" Prunty, 77, died on March 5, 2026, at his home peacefully with Patty Lynn and Cullen by his side. He is now on a journey to reunite with our son and many relatives.

Eddie was born in Bear Creek, received all of his sacraments, and was married at St. Mary's church. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and later earned his CPA at the University of Illinois.

He enjoyed more than anything his sons and grandkids sporting events; loved the Badgers until the end; talking politics; and playing blackjack. Life went fast.

Eddie wished to thank all his clients throughout the years while he was in business.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patty Lynn, son Cullen (Darien), grandchildren: James, Lainey, Caleb, Asher, Callum, and Bodie. As well as his sister, Ann (Bert) Clough.

Eddie is preceded in death by his son, Patton Carney; parents Edward and Gladys Prunty; eight siblings, Daniel, Sylvester, Lois, Kathryn, Priscilla, Patrick, Mary, and Michael; in-laws, Margaret and Herbert Suehring.

Eddie wished for no services. Private interment. Please no cards or flowers. Special thanks to Unity Hospice. They were truly wonderful.

Somewhere between hello and goodbye, we had life, love, and sadness.
