Edward Earl Queen, born on March 17, 1938, in Laurel County, Kentucky, was a beloved member of his community. He was the son of the late Eugene and Nellie McNew Queen. Edward departed this life on August 25, 2025, at the age of 87.

Edward was a jack of all trades, having worked as a plumber, truck driver, and tree trimmer. He had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and cherished his family and friends above all.

He is survived by his brothers Marvin Queen and wife Barbara, Fonley Queen and wife Linda, Carl Queen, and his sister Janet Powell and husband Woodrow, all residing in Lily, Kentucky. He leaves behind a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Moore and brothers Don Queen and Glen Queen and four sister-in-laws; Donna Queen, Victoria Queen, Mary Queen and Mae Queen

The funeral service for Edward Earl Queen will be held at 1 pm on Saturday at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by David Baltimore. Burial will follow at the Queen Cemetery in Lily.

The family will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 12 Noon on Saturday until the funeral hour of 1 pm.

Serving as pallbearers: Dale Moore, Lee Powell, Donovan Queen, Gunner Queen, Jeff Queen and Braden Queen
