Edward Rambone Obituary

Edward F. Rambone, Sr., 75, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Darlene H.
(Farrar) Rambone. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Andrew and Loretta (Grover) Rambone. Mr. Rambone was a truck mechanic for many years with the Macera Disposal Co. For the past 20 years he worked for his son Ed. Jr. at Rambone and Sprague Oil Co. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. A lifelong Scituate resident, he loved woodworking in his barn, gardening, camping, the outdoors, all wildlife and was a jack of all trades. His greatest love of all was his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Darlene, he was the father of Edward F. Rambone, Jr. (Barbie) of Scituate, Michael J. Rambone (Lori) of Scituate and Andrew W. Rambone (Kellie) of Scituate. He was the step-father of Mathew Nickerson (Stacey) of Scituate and Jessica Lowery (Jason) of Foster. He was the brother of Richard Rambone and the late Joseph, William and Robert Rambone. Mr. Rambone is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 9:30am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia Society, 2346 Post Rd. Suite 202, Warwick, RI 02886 or Scituate High School Trade Scholarship Fund, 94 Trimtown Rd North, Scituate, RI 02857, will be appreciated.
