Edward J. Sharer, 67 a long-time resident of Darby, Pa, died on October 3, 2025.

Ed retired from Hanger Clinic. He worked at the University of Pennsylvania as a Prosthetics and Orthotics technician for over 25 years.

He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and especially loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Edward was the son of the late John and Joan Sharer and is survived by his sisters JoAnn MacDonald (Jim), Gerri Wiegand (Tom), Donna Perry (Ken), his brothers Daniel Sharer (Donna), Jack Sharer (Janine) along with many nieces and nephews and his cousin and best friend Bobby Sharer.

We love him and will miss him dearly.

His viewing is Wednesday morning, October 8, from 9:00 am to 10:15 am followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am ALL IN CHURCH at Blessed Virgin Mary Church 1101 Main St. Darby, PA 19023.

Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
