MOUNT CARMEL - Edward "EJ" / "Shooter" Shuder Jr., 44, of Mount Carmel, passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at his residence.
He was born in Shamokin, Jan. 24, 1980, EJ was a son of Emma L. (Berry) and Edward J. Shuder Sr.
EJ was of the Christian faith.
He attended Mount Carmel Area High School.
EJ was a "jack of all trades" and worked various jobs in construction over the years.
He enjoyed spending time with his three children and family, riding motorcycles, playing the lottery and lending a hand to anyone who needed help.
EJ is survived by his parents, Emma and Ed Shuder, of Mount Carmel; his spouse, Kaylajo Shuder, of Lewisburg; two sisters, Tracy Ford (Tony), of Mount Carmel, and Tammy Shuder, of Mount Carmel; three children, Priscilla, Logan and Liamm; three nieces, Tiana, Savanna and Tesha; two nephews, Jeremy and Brett; and other extended family and friends.
EJ was preceded in death by his niece, Tela Marie Snyder, who passed away in 1999.
SHUDER - Edward "EJ" / "Shooter" Shuder Jr., 44, of Mount Carmel. A viewing for family and friends will be held on from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rothermel-Heizenroth-Clark Funeral Home, 120 S. Market St., Mount Carmel. A service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kay Painter officiating. Interment will be private at a later date.
