It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved father Edward H Simons, 86-year-old of Running Springs, Ca who passed away on July 4th, 2025, at 5:44 pm surrounded by loved ones.
Edward was born in Los Angeles, Ca on June 1, 1939. He lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, strength, and humor.
He married Colette Mary Sullivan on Sept. 7, 1963, and they built a life full of love, laughter, and memories. Edward was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend. He is survived by his daughters Jackie Simons, Kelly Watson, and grandchildren Colbie Watson and Sullivan Watson.
He served 4 years in the Navy and was so proud of his service. He worked in construction for over 50 years and was a project manager for Hughes Aircraft. He was known for his dedication, work ethic, warmth, and was admired by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Outside of work he loved golf, fishing, dancing, and listening to music.
His life was guided by compassion, humility, and strength. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his wisdom, humor, and unconditional love.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the memories we shared and the legacy he leaves behind. A legacy of love, compassion, and strength.
He will be missed beyond words, and remembered with every sunrise, every laugh, and every story told in his honor.
The family will announce a celebration of life later once plans are completed.
