Edward Lee Smigelski

EDWARD L. SMIGELSKI, 39, of Parma Heights, OH, died January 9th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 5th, 1986 in Cleveland OH. The son to Janette Pellas and Edward Smigelski, father to Penelope Smigelski, brother to Darryl Smigelski, Jessica Buttrey (Tim), Stacy Trassare (Chris), dearest uncle to many nieces, nephews and cousins, he adored.
Eddie was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed harassing his family and friends who were Cleveland Browns fans. Eddie played baseball as a child and throughout high school and occasionally through the years. He also played semi pro football a few years prior to enlisting in the Army. Eddie was deployed 3 times to Iraq and one year in Wiesbaden Germany, being a driver to CSM Mustafa, which he always said was his most valuable time throughout his 9 year service career.
Eddie cherished his daughter Penelope and enjoyed his one on one time with her.
When Eddie smiled, he shined.
