Mr. Edward Kirkland Smoak, 53, of Walterboro, entered into rest Wednesday, July 16, 2025, while in Orangeburg County.
Born December 23, 1971, in Walterboro, South Carolina, he was a son of Everette A. Smoak and Carol Patricia Colley Smoak. He was a draft operator with Right Way Tree Company in Orangeburg and will always be remembered for his love of tractors.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Maine are: his son, Jonathan Smoak; a sister, Susan Morris (Allen), his longtime companion, Christina Simmons; and his former wife, Debbie Diane Smoak; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
