Edward Joseph St.John

Edward Joseph St.John, 83, of Adrian, former long-time resident of Richmond, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at ProMedica Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan July 3, 1941 the son of the late Alfred and Victoria (Dargas) St. John.
His marriage to Geraldine Umloff was May 21, 1966, in Centerline, Michigan. They were married 44 years before her passing on March 3, 2011. He then married Phyllis on April 21, 2012.
Edward enjoyed farming and was known as the "egg man" at the market in Mt. Clemens. He was very involved in his church and proud of his Catholic Faith. Many Sundays were spent attending church and then making breakfast for the kids-especially pancakes in the shapes of their letters. Edward was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, holding a Fourth Degree status. He enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and going camping with his grandchildren. He loved model trains and sharing this love with his grandsons.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis of 12 cherished years; children Joseph, Margaret, Denise, and Daniel (Amee); grandchildren, Andrew (Katelyn), Michael (Ashley), Matthew (Alex Shepherd), Adam Dalecke, Aaron Dalecke, Devin Dalecke, Jacob, Brady, and Vincent; three great-grandchildren, Layla, Jameson and Raelynn; two sisters, Arlene (David) Leveque, and Jeanette (the late Robert) Deason; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Marilynn Umloff; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. In addition, the family will also honor Edward on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh, Michigan with a funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m.
