Beloved son of the late Edward and Norma Stephens (née Strauss); devoted husband of JoAnn Stephens (née Floerchinger) for 60 wonderful years; loving father of Thomas A. Stephens and Amy E. Stephens; cherished grandfather of Mason A. Stephens and Owen W. Stephens; dear brother of Norma (the late David) Schweiger; brother-in-law of Paula (John) Rosmanitz and Alan (Kim) Floerchinger; and a special friend to LaDonna, Joyce, Beth, and many more relatives and friends.
Edward lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service. His greatest joy was his family, and he treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren. Known for his warm heart and playful spirit, Edward delighted others with his magic tricks and shared his passion for photography, especially capturing the beauty of historic buildings. He had an appreciation for art and history, which led him to volunteer at the Jefferson Barracks Museum, where he shared his knowledge and enthusiasm with the community. He also enjoyed attending car shows with his 62’ Falcon, where he admired classic designs and craftsmanship.
A proud United States Navy Veteran, Edward exemplified dedication and honor throughout his life. His legacy is one of kindness, creativity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
Edward will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
