Edward Bruce Still III (Trae), age 28. It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our son and brother, Trae on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023. Trae was born on January 19, 1995, in Columbus, Ohio to Edward Jr. and Lora (Eader) Still. He leaves behind his fiancé Amanda O'Harra, two children Mason and Amelia Still, brothers Zachary Hoffman (Kendra) and Noah Still, and sisters Susan Lashley, Kelly Malinowski, Ashley Hoffman-Miller (Doug), and Amy Hoffman. A loving and rambunctious boy with a big heart. He was competitive, full of love and laughter. He loved his family more than anything. Growing up, Trae's favorite place was his late grandparent's house (Edward Sr. and Judy Still) at Indian Lake. Many weekends and holidays were spent at the lake with his siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles. From boat and wave runner rides to fishing out back in the canal. We are grateful to be left with so many memories of Trae. He was a talented electrician since the age of 16. He always dreamed of having a family of his own. Being a dad was his greatest achievement, he was so proud. Trae always strived to better himself. When he got knocked down, he would always get back up. He was a warrior who endured more in his young adulthood than most will in a lifetime, but never wavered and always came out on top. Despite ongoing personal battles and hardships, Trae always sought a connection with Jesus. He did not know a stranger. Easy to talk to, he could sit and talk with anyone just as Jesus would. Trae will live on through his two children and all of the family who loved him dearly. Friends may call Friday, August 4th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43215 where the Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 5th at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43213. Please join us immediately after the service to celebrate Trae's life at The Berwick, 3250 Refugee Rd Columbus, Ohio 43232.
