Edward Tarver

Edward Ronald Tarver, 59, of Pricedale, MS passed away February 5, 2026 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Edward was born on June 18, 1966 to the late Roy Vacel Tarver and Rosalyn Green Tarver. He was a jokester, goofy, and the captain of making weird contraptions. His nieces and nephews lovingly referred to him as Uncle Quack. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Windy Tarver; his sisters Melody Tarver and Lisa Tarver; and his brother Paul Tarver.

He is survived by four children David Murphy of Missouri, Stephanie Wilson (Brian) of McComb, Ron Tarver of Pricedale and Savannah Tarver (Fiancé Avery Barger) of McComb; three brothers Matthew Tarver, John Tarver, and Roy Tarver; five sisters Heather Tarver, Cricket Tarver, Lori Travis, Rosie Travis, and Amber Polkey; two sister-in-laws Cindy Young of Missouri and Lori Turner (Scott) of Missouri; a brother-in-law Chuck Hutchinson (Mary Ellen) of California; his step father-in-law James Burch of Pricedale and his step mother-in-law Janet Hutchinson of Missouri; grandchildren Hunter Murphy, Wyatt Minor, Grayson Honea, Brett Tarver, Khaleesi Botley, Khalani Tarver, Kingston Tarver, Dregon Wilkerson Matthew Cortez and Eiden Tarver, and his future daughter-in-law Elizabeth Young, along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
