Edward Gilmore Teichman, 72, of Big Spring, Texas, was promoted to Glory to be with his mother, Deloris, Friday, May 30, 2025. A viewing for family and friends will begin from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Ed was born on August 18, 1952, in Shawnee, OK, to Deloris F. Lewis and later adopted by Benjamin Teichman. Ed was a diligent worker and was devoted to those he loved. He was steady and dependable and was readily available when a helping hand was needed. He absolutely loved his music which he would often play very loudly!
Ed's mother was a faithful member of The Salvation Army for over 40 years and Ed is a product of his praying Christian mother and became an adherent January 21, 2015. He served as the manager over the homeless. He has been faithful in attendance, buying donuts every Sunday morning, reading scriptures as apart of the Morning Service and we will desperately miss his genuine hugs.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn Smith of Big Spring; son Bo Teichman (Alyssa) of Denver, Colorado; brother Bill Teichman (Susan) of Big Spring; and sister Elaine Harris (Dwayne) of Alamogordo, NM, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Benjamin and Deloris.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory of Big Spring. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.npwelch.com.
