Obituary of Edward George VanVranken, Jr.
BRUNSWICK –
Edward George VanVranken, Jr., known by his family and friends as "Eddy" was born on February 7, 1974.
He passed away on April 14, 2024 in the comfort of his own home.
Eddy was the fourth child (out of six children) born to the late Edward Sr. and Alyce VanVranken.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Jolene, and two perfect children, Emilee Alyce VanVranken (Fiancé Phillip Laiacona) and Tyler Edward VanVranken.
Also mourning are his surviving siblings and their spouses: Alicia Conyers, Maria VanVranken (and partner Bobby Hart) Tricia Hillebrandt (brother-in-law Lou Hillebrandt) Deanna Catherwood, and brother David VanVranken (sister-in-law Kassandra Elaine VanVranken). Eddy's best friend since age 14 (who was very much considered a brother) Kirk St. John and his wife Cathy St. John also survives.
Eddy was the much loved uncle to his nephews: Anthony (Sarah) Conyers, Joshua Hillebrandt, Bo Catherwood, Luke Catherwood, David VanVranken, Jr. and to his niece Alyson Conyers (Fiancé Daniel Parisi). He was the great uncle of Melody Alyce Hillebrandt.
He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Annette (Scott) Pelletier, nephew Scott (Danielle) Pelletier Jr. and nephew Ryan Pelletier, his beloved cousin and one of his best friends, Lynette Hunt.
It was too early for us to lose Eddy at age 50. An amazing man with a heart of gold. He was our rock, our love and our sunshine, providing much needed strength and the love to his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Services were held at the convenience of the family.
