Edward C. Walton, Jr.

MOUNT WOLF – Edward C. Walton, Jr. 71 of Mount Wolf, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York, PA.

Edward was born on December 17, 1954, in Coatesville, PA and was the son of the late Edward Walton, Sr. and Donna (Shultz) Cook, and his stepfather, William Cook.

He was employed for over 48 years as a truck driver for various trucking companies. He retired in 2024 from Quest Liner Trucking Company. He was a member of various fire companies as a volunteer firefighter and an EMT spanning over 50 years. He most recently was associated with the Eagle Fire Company in Mount Wolf, PA. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on vehicles in the garage, camping, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed teaching firearm safety to his family and spending quality time at the range. His cantankerous nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Edward is survived by his daughters, Dawn Ford and her husband, Michael of Mount Wolf, PA, Amanda Jean Walton, Megan Walton both of New Holland, PA and Brittany Walton of Elkhart, IN; his stepdaughter, Kelly Laukhuff of New Holland, PA; his stepsons, Chad Whiteman of New Holland, and Londan Provost of Elkhart, IN; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren, and his sister, Michele Walton Savage of Kingsport, TN.

Service and burial for Edward will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
