Edward Waraksa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Feb. 4, 2025.
Edward F. Waraksa, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on May 8, 1946, Ed's life was characterized by his unwavering love for his family, his faith and his commitment to his community. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Bernadette M. Waraksa (nee Tepper), and their four loving children: Eddie and his wife, Kathleen; Chris and his wife, Adrienne; Greg and his wife, Amy; and Andrea Dugan and her husband, Kevin. He was the devoted Pop Pop of Kamryn Waraksa, Sean Dugan, Hailey Dugan, Kyle Waraksa, Gavin Waraksa, Trent Waraksa, and Abby Waraksa. Ed was the dear brother of Loretta Andreayo and her husband, Ken, and the dearly loved uncle of Janine Fallon, her husband, Andrew, and their daughters, Lainey, Demi, and Tessa. His family and friends will dearly miss his presence and the wisdom he imparted. Ed's long working career as a civilian employee at the Lakehurst Naval Base was marked by his role as a Logistics Manager and Civil Engineer. A man of deep faith, Ed was a longtime active member of St. Joan of Arc Church. His commitment to his faith was evident in his role as a Eucharistic Minister. An avid golfer, he spent many hours perfecting his swing and enjoying the game. This was not the only game he loved as he was also an avid Philly sports fan. He will be missed cheering on the Eagles to a Super Bowl win. His support for his teams was only rivaled by his love and commitment to his family. As we say goodbye to Edward F. Waraksa, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of the joys and triumphs that come from a life anchored in family, faith and love. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 8:15-10:15am at the Bradley Funeral Home 601 Rt. 73 South at Evesham Road, Marlton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00am at St Joan of Arc Church Willow Bend Road Marlton. Interment to follow at St. Dominic's Cemetery, Philadelphia PA.
