It is with utmost respect we announce the passing of Mr. Edward Randall Washington III, 63, of Tallahassee, Florida, who departed this life on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Homegoing services for Mr. Edward Washington III will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, at The Gathering Place International Ministries, 2635 S. Adams Street, Tallahassee, FL 32305, with the interment concluding in Oakland Cemetery.

Viewing-visitation will be 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950).

Edward Randall "Randy" Washington III was born on December 25, 1962, in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Edward Washington, Jr. and Aslee Washington. Edward was mostly raised in New Orleans, LA.

Edward was educated in the public school system in New Orleans, LA where he received his high school diploma in 1980 from Booker T. Washington High School.

Edward accepted Christ as a young child. He was a member of Saint City Ministries in Tallahassee, FL. He served many years as a devoted hard-working maintenance foreman, working all around Tallahassee. Edward was a jack of all trades and a man who wore many hats.

Edward moved to Tallahassee, FL in 1992 where he met the love of his life, Harriet in 1993. On March 6, 1999, they joined together in Holy Matrimony. Edward was a loving husband, a caring father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle to all. He was a bright light for all to see. He was the dancing machine at every event, and he was also known as "The Grill Master." Edward enjoyed watching Storage Wars and First 48 and had an everlasting love for the Florida State Seminoles and New Orleans Saints.

On Wednesday, December 25, 2025, Edward was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a stepson: Gerald Faust, a stepdaughter: Tiffany Hendrix and grandson: Quinton Washington, Jr.

Edward leaves behind to cherish his memories a loving wife: Harriet; two children: Quinton and Quintella Washington of New Orleans, LA; a stepson: Deshannon Faust of Tallahassee, FL; a sister: Sandra (the late Kelvin) Brown of Columbus, GA; sister in laws: Gwendolyn Sutton, Gloria Curry, Karen Wright, and Lorena Austin, all of Tallahassee, FL; a brother: Ronald (Shantay) Washington of Dallas, TX; 24 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; a special goddaughter: Tomika Thomas of Tallahassee, FL; a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

It is our profound honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Washington and to serve the Washington Family.
