Edward Junior West, resident of Oracle, AZ, passed away on October 9, 2025. Born in Deadwood, South Dakota on July 21, 1935, to Lester Edward West and Vera Forbenia West. Edward, known as "Buddy," worked for Magma Copper Co. for nearly 30 years as an electrician and supervisor in the locomotive shop underground on the 2375 level. He is survived by his sister Rose, sons Michael (Ruth) and Nelson West, and seven grandchildren. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Living Word Chapel (3941 W Highway 77, Oracle, AZ 85623) on November 1, 2025, at 11:00AM.
