Edward E. Wiltrout

Edward E. Wiltrout, 90, of Millsboro, PA passed away peacefully in his home on March 1, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 13, 1935, in Greene County, PA, a son of the late Harry F. and Jennie Harris Wiltrout. Ed graduated from Point Marion High School in 1953 and was enlisted in the U.S. Army serving from 1956 to 1959. Following his military service he later worked for Nationwide Insurance Company for over 30 years.

On August 27, 1960, he married his wife Carolyn Koast Wiltrout who survives. They proudly celebrated 65 years of marriage. Ed was also a member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Fredericktown American Legion Post 391, and the Owl's Club.

He enjoyed boating and hunting and was involved with various community activities.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children Edward Wiltrout Jr. (Sue) of Venetia, PA and Amy Jones (Bill) of McMurray, PA; 7 grandchildren Josh, Renee, Dave, Nick, Mackenzie, Blake, and Madison; 4 great grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family.

Preceding him in death are 3 siblings in childhood as well as brothers Bill, and Harry and sisters Gayle, Grace, Babe, and Doris.

Friends will be received on Tuesday March 3, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Prayers will be recited in the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday followed by a mass of Christian burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Richeyville Campus with Fr. Edward Yuhas as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
