Ceclia M. Wiltrout, 82, of Thurmont passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Autumn Lake Healthcare of Glade Valley.
Born, July 10, 1943, in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Mary Merrillo.
In addition to her parents, Cecelia is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Clarence Wiltrout Sr; granddaughters: Samantha Wiltrout and Ashley Keilholtz.
Surviving are her sons: Clarence Wiltrout Jr. (Penni), Mike Wiltrout (Amy), Tim Wiltrout (Trina), John Wiltrout
(Chrissy); grandchildren: Kyle Wiltrout (Cheyanne), Lindsey Wiltrout (Daniel), Danielle Wiltrout (Jason), Ben
Wittrout (Natalié), Austyn Wiltrout, Chris Keilholtz (Lauren), Greg Dubs, Robie Dubs and Gretchen Mitchell (Bradley); great grandchildren: Daniel, Allison, Adalynn, Cooper, Sadie, Macie, Sarah Landis, Colby, Chloe, Braelynn, Brantley, Ashton Kenzie, Abby and sister-in-law: Sandra Kelley.
Cecelia was a loving wife and mother to her four, very energetic, boys, an avid swimmer including swimming across the Monongahela River in her younger days. She loved dancing with her husband, camping, crabbing, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
Friends may come for visitation on February 27, 2026, at Weller United Methodist Church, 101 N. Altamont Ave., Thurmont, MD from 12pm - 3pm
with funeral services starting promptly at 3pm. Pastor Jeff Shaw will be officiating.
Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
Cecelia's care has been entrusted to Black's Funeral Home of Sabillasville.
