Nancy Wiltrout Obituary
Nancy L. Wiltrout, age 85, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday morning, November 26, 2025, in UPMC Hamot.
She was born on May 14, 1940 in Kittanning, PA, a daughter of Raymond and Carolyn (Brown) Silvis. She had been married to Richard Heilman and subsequently married John Wiltrout on July 26, 1974, he passed away on August 29, 2023.
Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Kittanning High School and received a certificate from Business Training College in Pittsburgh. She was employed as a Technical Writer at Talon for 22 years, retiring in 1993. She was a former member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association and enjoyed traveling and spending her winters in Florida with her husband John.
Nancy was a member of Littles Corners Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, Watson Run Women’s Club, Vernon Twp. Red Hat Society, member of Vernon Central Hose Company. Nancy truly enjoyed her Monday and Friday dinner’s with friends.
She is survived by a son, John (Kristi) Heilman of Cambridge Springs; a step- daughter, Susan (Chester) Gerber of Hartstown; four step- sons, Dan (Kathleen) Wiltrout of Rockford, MI, Steve (Krista) Wiltrout of Conneaut Lake, Ted (Deanna) Wiltrout of Conneaut Lake, John (Deanna Murawski) Wiltrout, of Conneaut Lake, and; fourteen grandchildren, Tiffany (Kent), Jerad (Alex), Lacy (Gerald), Jennifer (Adam), Trever (Jamie), Neil (Stacy), Eric (Lisa), Kevin (Mandy), Lisa (Kyle), Justin, Bryant, John, II, Nicholas, Kyle (Katlyn); 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Glenyce Wiltrout and Joyce Silvis; and her dear friend Gerry Lynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Richard Silvis, two step granddaughters, Ashley and Amber Wiltrout, and a brother-in-law Willard (Bill) Wiltrout,
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 4:00 PM in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 581 CHESTNUT ST, MEADVILLE, with the Rev. Larry Miller, Pastor of Littles Corners Methodist Church, officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
