Edward Wolz Obituary
Born in Louisville, he retired from B.F. Goodrich as a supervisor after 30 years and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Michael and Josephine (Cecil) Wolz; brother, Jerry Wolz; and sister, Shirley Ann Powell.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years (November 26, 1960), Nancy Mae (Tinsley) Wolz; children, Glenn Wolz (Karen) and Theresa Ann Mayes (Rick); grandchildren, Danny Mayes (Alison) and Megan Mayes; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Bailey Mayes; and sister, Marsha Peters (Louie).
His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 155 Stringer Ln., Mt. Washington, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or Mass of the Air.
