With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edward F. Wozniak Jr., a beloved member of the Sparrows Point community. Edward was born on May 31, 1951 to the late Edward Sr and Joan Wozniak. He worked tirelessly as a diesel mechanic at the Port of Baltimore ILA Local 333 and took pride in his work and was highly respected by his colleagues and friends.
Edward's compassionate nature and dedication extended beyond his professional life, as he was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Wozniak, a devoted father to his daughter Kimberly Raitt and her husband Scott Raitt Sr and his son Edward F. Wozniak III, his fiancee Lisa Elbourne and his late wife Karena Wozniak. Edward was also a cherished grandfather to Scott Raitt Jr and his wife Kaleigh, Edward Raitt, Regina Raitt, Kabrielle Wozniak, Kassidee Wozniak, and Savannah Wozniak. He had 3 great-grandchildren and 2 late great-grandchildren. He is additionally survived by his siblings Paul, Kenny, Ronald, Bobby, Ricky, Jeffrey and Pamela. His love and care knew no bounds, and his family meant the world to him.
Friends and family are welcome to a public viewing on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road. In honor of his memory, funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 10:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Avenue.
Let us come together to celebrate the life of Edward F. Wozniak Jr., a man whose kindness and dedication touched the lives of many. May his spirit rest in peace, forever remembered and forever loved.
