Edwidge was born on November 25, 1978, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to her loving parents Carole Reserve and Vincent B. Antoine. At a young age, she immigrated to the United States, where she began her education at St. Kevin Catholic School in Boston. She later moved to New Jersey, where she completed high school East Orange High School, she was a Home Health Aide, certified Nursing Assistance and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse-a role in which she served with great dedication and compassion, especially during her years at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital she also work at different agency to provide for her family.
Edwidge known for her vibrant spirit, Edwidge was truly the life of the party. She had a deep love for dancing, traveling, and living life to the fullest. Her joyful presence was infectious, and she had a unique way of making everyone around her feel loved and supported. She was generous, family-oriented, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
In 1998, Edwidge became a mother, welcoming her beloved daughter Lovely Dort. She later gave birth to her daughters Shednie and Sharlynn, whom she cherished above all else. Her family was her pride and joy.
In 2017, Edwidge was diagnosed with cancer. True to her resilient nature, she fought valiantly for eight years, never losing her spirit or love for life.
Edwidge is survived by her three daughters, Lovely, Shednie, and Sharlynn; her precious grandchildren, Kyrah and Artiste; her Brothers, Jodlyn (Bobby) Antone, Emmanuel Knaggs, Kervin Knaggs, sisters Angelique (Angie) Antoine, and Jodelyn Antoine, Katia Reserve; Nephews-Steven, Kyle, Carvin, Giovanni, Nieces, Somaya, Sabrina, Laurie, Aria, her beloved best friend and chosen sister, Marie Larose her godmother Kettly; Clara Godfather Marckingson and a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Edwidge's warmth, laughter, beautiful smile, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
