Edwin Dean "Ed" Burchfield

Edwin "Ed" Dean Burchfield - age 72 of Lenoir City, passed away February 11, 2023. Ed was a former co-owner of Burchfield-Cole Concrete Construction. He was an avid fisherman, a racing enthusiast, animal lover and enjoyed working in his yard. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Burchfield and Gerald "Pappy" Inman; brother, Gary Burchfield; sister, Vivian Clore; and brother-in-law, Herman Jones. Survived by his wife and companion of 30 years, Dianne Hale Burchfield; children: Angie Burchfield, Jason Burchfield, and Vera Schumpert (Richard); granddaughter, Hailey Palmer; sister, Carrolinda Jones; sisters-in-law, Darlene Bounds (Ron) and Sherry Phillips (Woodrow); along with several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Ed's life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 15th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 12:30 on Thursday and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 1 p.m. graveside services.
