Edwin Gobin

It is with great sadness that the family of Edwin Gobin (Black Bai/Frame) announce his passing on August 21, 2024, at the age of 73.

Edwin was born April 18, 1951, in Broomfield Berbice, Guyana and later moved to the United States in November 2003. For most of his life, he worked as a Taxi Driver.

He predeceased by his parents Sammy and Doris, son Roy, and sister Rini.

He lived in Georgetown at an early age, where is married his first wife, Loraine, and had 7 children. Later he met the love of his life Lynette.

He loved to dress 99, and always looking sharp, especially with a new watch and shoes. He always entertained playing dominoes with family and friends. 

He is survived by beloved wife, Lynette Bhikham, of over 50 years of being together; his children, Rosaline, Edward, Troy, Loretta, Dionne, and Patrick; sisters Golin and Babita, his grandchildren, Phillip, Priya, Trisha, Troy Jr. (Boi), Manisha, Ryan, Nicholas, Patricia, Xavrai, Arya, Anjuli, Liam, Malani, Ethan, and Jasmine; great grand children, Ravin and Pearson, his in-laws, Purty, Stonebee, Papa, Sharon, Amanda, Jean and Kissoon, Buddy and Carmen, Baby and Kashim, Mashee and Zam, Vindo and Pamela, Pado and George, Savo and Naresh; Nieces and Nephews, Sharmila, Deepak, Devika, Dev, Juliet, Samantha, Vijay, Regina, Ravi, Maria, Michael, Johnny, Avinash, Anand and many others wonderful circle of family and friends.
