Edwin Joseph Halloran, 90, husband of Maureen Veronica Halloran, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his home in Georgetown, SC.
Born on January 11, 1936, in Queens, NY, he was a son of the late Edwin George Halloran and the late Alice Barnett Halloran. Mr. Halloran pursued his education at St. Bonaventure University, where he graduated with a degree that would set the foundation for his future endeavors. After graduating college, Mr. Halloran was drafted into the U.S. Army at a young age, he served his country with honor, embodying the values of service.
Mr. Halloran found his professional calling in the real estate industry, where he became a respected appraiser. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he established his own appraisal company, earning a reputation for integrity and expertise. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction left an indelible mark on the communities he served throughout Long Island, NY.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Halloran was a man of many passions. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as golfing, boating, and fishing. His love for the water was evident in his frequent outings, where he embraced the tranquility and beauty of nature. These moments spent with family and friends were among his most cherished.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Maureen Veronica Halloran of Georgetown; three children, Edwin P. Halloran of Georgetown, Suzanne Halloran of Etowah, NC and Jean Jacobson (Erik) of Clinton, NY; and six grandchildren, Thomas Farrell (Hannah) of Arden, NC, Sean Farrell of Pisgah Forest, NC, Liam Farrell of Pisgah Forest, NC, Kelly Farrell of Pisgah Forest, NC, Lena Jacobson of Clinton, NY and Jack Jacobson of Clinton, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Georgetown, SC. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
