Edwin "Earl" Kaminski

Edwin "Earl" Kaminski, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 83. Earl was a devoted husband of 39 years to his beloved wife, Mary Kaminski, nee Allgire. He was the loving father of Sarah (Tim) O'Hara, Nicole (Richard Campbell) Kaminski, Gregory Kaminski, Christopher Kaminski, and the late Michael Kaminski. Earl was born and raised in Lemont, Illinois. He and Mary lived downtown Chicago for over 30 years before moving to Hinsdale. Earl was a Mechanical Engineer and President & Founder of a manufacturing company specializing in aerospace, military and government contracts. It was a career he was incredibly passionate about and from which he never retired. One of Earl's greatest joys was spending time at their home in Galena, Illinois with family and friends, golfing and enjoying the peaceful outdoors.

Earl is survived by his dear sisters, Diane (the late John) Taskay and Claire (the late Paul) Cimino. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Estelle Kaminski, and his brother, Roger Kaminski. Earl will also be fondly remembered as a cherished grandfather to his seven grandchildren, dear cousin, and a beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, March 27, 2026, 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 West Fourth Street, Hinsdale. Private family Interment at St. Cyril and Methodious Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Isaac Jogues Parish (Hinsdale), Saint Clement Parish (Chicago) or Northwestern Medicine are appreciated.
