Edwin Upthegrove

After 93 years of a blessed and bountiful life, Ed "Sugar" Upthegrove passed away peacefully on December 27 in Titusville where he raised his family and started his underground utilities business in 1961. A WW II veteran, Mason, Shriner and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ed was wed to Bobbi for 61 years. He fathered four children, had multiple grandchildren, was an uncle to many and a friend to legions. Born in West Palm Beach on July 15, 1931, Ed was an excellent businessman, a pilot and an avid golfer who regularly played at Royal Oak Country Club and La Cita. He loved sharing a joke or a story with a cold Miller Lite in his hand.
A viewing will be held on Sunday from 4-6 pm at North Brevard Funeral Home. The funeral will be 11 am Monday December 30, 2024, at New Life Space Coast. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Eagle Club
