Edwin was owner and operator of Ed's Tree Service and enjoyed working on Whitney farms and Dougan farms in Harborcreek. He loved hunting, being with his family and chihuahua dogs, watching the Buffalo Bills, and westerns.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, sister Beverly A. Cole, infant siblings Garth, Debbie, and Eleanor, and grandson Jayden.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (Blankenship) Whitney; his children John Whitney (Michelle), Mary Whitney, Edwin Whitney (Tiffany), Kristin Lupole (Joseph), Brandis Whitney (Brendon), and Jerrico Whitney; Grandchildren Gabriel, John, Samantha, Juliana, Vanessa, Ryan, Joshua, Dimitri, Nathan, Charlotte, Maylee, Abigail, and John Jr.; and Great grandchildren Hudson and Elliot.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St. North East, on Thursday, March 19 at four P.M. until time of funeral services at seven P.M. at the funeral home. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com
