Edwina Ruth Meyering was born on July 3, 1928,
in Albuquerque, NM. She passed from this life on
Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Redding, CA.
Ruth was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend,
and mentor. She enjoyed bowling, shopping,
homemaking, traveling, and cooking. She was a
member of the Red Hat Society, Republican Women of Shasta County, Stonecroft Ministries, and Grace Baptist Church.
She will be greatly missed by her children:
Gordon Meyering and Keven Meyering; Granddaughter Nicole and her husband Dustin; Grandsons: Ocean, Hunter, and Forest Samson; sister: Leona Powell, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Meyering, in January, 2000.
A celebration of her life will be held at Grace
Baptist Church, 3782 Churn Creek Road, Redding, CA on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow the service at Redding Cemetery, 1201 Continental St, Redding, CA.
Viewing at the Church from 11:30 A.M. to Noon.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel, 2030 Howard St, Anderson, Ca 530-365-5466
