We mourn the loss of Edwina "Eddie" Webb, born on January 28, 1950, who passed away on October 18, 2023. A beloved Dean of Student Support Services at American River College in Sacramento, California, she dedicated her life to nurturing the growth and success of students, enabling them to realize their fullest potential. Known for her passion for literature, academia, and the arts, she enriched the lives of many with her knowledge and enthusiasm. Her unwavering love for her six cherished grandchildren was a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Eddie is survived by her daughter Dione Crayne and husband Brian Crayne, as well as her son Devin Wilson and his wife Sara Wilson, along with their respective families. As we reflect on her life and the legacy she leaves behind, let us remember her profound impact on the American River College community and the countless lives she touched with her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering support. May her memory continue to inspire kindness and a dedication to the betterment of others.
