Efrain Gonzalez

Efrain Gonzalez (Guerro) was born on September 4, 1940, in Chihuahua, Mexico and passed away on February 25, 2026, in Tonopah, AZ, surrounded by his loving family.

Efrain came to California at a young age and held various jobs throughout his lifetime including jobs in the agriculture and wine industry. He married Gloria Rocha in 1968 and together they built a life that focused on their love and their family. Together, they settled in Soledad, California.

Efrain lived out his later years in Tonopah, Az., where he enjoyed his bar-b-q, cold Coors lights, and making new friends. He stayed busy in his desert oasis planting trees, fixing anything and everything around the house, constantly building something new and giving orders to anyone helping. Also known for his sense of humor, he provided the best nicknames, especially for his grandchildren.

Efrain is survived by his wife Gloria and their children Evelyn Carrasco (Reggie), Peter Carrasco (Terri), Sarah Martinez, Carlos Gonzalez (Brandy), and Efrain Gonzalez Jr. (Rozina), and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on March 19, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with Rosary at 6:00pm at Woodyard Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held on March 20, 2026, 10:30am at Our Lady of Solitude Catholic Church, followed by burial at the Soledad Cemetery.
