Efrain "Freddie" Perez

Efrain Perez "Freddie," age 64, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022. Born September 23, 1957 in Chicago, he was the beloved husband of Carmen Caban (Lily); loving father of JoEllen Perez and Jaimie Lee Perez, and father in law to Maksymilian W. Nowak; cherished grandfather of Bartholomew Lee Nowak; and granddog Molly Perez. Dear uncle to many, including Gabriella, and Sebastian Chavarria. Freddie was a Harley Davidson rider and enthusiast. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, woodworking, making jewelry, and cracking jokes with his family and friends. He was always talking to everyone he encountered, quick to give advice and life lessons along the way. He was known by his neighbors as the "Mayor" of Laramie Ave. Freddie will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago. Funeral Service Friday 9:30 a.m.. at the funeral home. Interment Mt.
