Efrem was a proud member of Estilo Car Club where he would proudly display his lowrider bike he made as a tribute to his mom, Yoli. He truly enjoyed life, especially with his nephews Eric Robert & Joseph "Jojo" Valencia. Efrem was a faithful man who read the bible daily. He shared scripture and his love with all who crossed his path. Efrem was a kind and loving soul who would do anything he could for anybody he could.
He is survived by his father Alex "Sonny" Duran, his aunts, who he also considered his moms, Norma Jean Flores and Sylvia (Bobby) Escobar. His cousins who he considered his brothers and sisters, Eric Flores, Bill Flores (Patricia), Teresa Varela (Raul), Lucinda Valencia (Eric), and Bobbie Jean Escobar. His nephews Raymond Arsola and Eric Robert and Joseph "Jojo" Valencia and his best friend Norman Castrillo. He was preceded in death by his mother, who he loved and missed dearly Yolanda T. Duran, his grandmothers Lily Duran and Socorro Trejo, his grandfathers Alex Duran and Efren Trejo.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Pastor Jason Holden officiating.
Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory "Trust care for the ones you love" ~ 575-537-0777. To send condolences, visit www.terrazasfuneralchapel.com.
