Many years ago Efren and I usually kill the karaoke machine at friends´ gatherings-we did the BeeGees practically non-stop. He was a good singer and with that crisp voice of his, people "listened." One Christmas party at a friend´s house we decided to do impersonation of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton with their rendition of "Islands in the Stream" and all we had was about a 5-minute practice out in the street. He was Dolly! He has good humor bit most of all he´s good at laughing-at my jokes!!! I can still "hear" his trademark laugh. Efren was a good man. A good friend. And a good "compadre." My condolences to the whole family.
