Eileen M. Bannon

Eileen M. Bannon of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully at Vitas Hospice on April 4, 2023. She was 70 years old.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY, June 22, 1952 and attended St. John's University Nursing Program. She worked as a trauma (ER) nurse at Bellevue Hospital, NY and eventually moved to PA where she was a nurse at Lower Bucks Hospital and for a family practice afterwards.

Eileen's true passion was volunteering for the VFW in Croydon, PA, where she was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary helping veterans and serving members in the community.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. & Virginia Bannon and her brother-in-law, James Stefanich and is survived by her children Robert (Amy) Bannon, Wendy (Kevin) Bannon, Cheryl (Lawrence) Lambert and Shawn Lower, her sister Kathleen Stefanich, her grandchildren Arielle, Shawn (Buddy), Colin, Shane and Brooke. She also leaves behind four great grandchildren: Alessia, Avery, Shiloh, Evie, and had a special place in her heart for everyone including her nephews Jimmy, Kevin, Thomas Stefanich, their wives, and children. She also leaves behind her special friends Becky Pecoraro, Thomas Goodman and Janet Bossman and her many friends of the VFW and Women's Auxiliary.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eileen's name to the VFW, 901 Bellevue Ave., Croydon, PA 19021.
