Eileen D. Bell age 86 of Neillsville went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2024, at Liberty House in Fond du Lac, WI.

Eileen was born on June 29, 1938 to William and Dora (Scheel) Hoffman in Globe, WI. She attended Globe School K-8th grade and Neillsville High School 9-12th grade. She graduated from Neillsville High School in 1957.

Eileen married the love of her life Bob W. Bell on April 26, 1958. In the fall of 1958 they purchased a farm in Christie where they worked very hard together to provide for their family. In addition to farming she raised four girls. She had a big garden and did a lot of canning. She always had big meals on the table for her family and the hired men. She was always willing to entertain and had numerous parties with friends and family. For many years she hosted groups of deer hunters at her house.

In the fall of 1989, after 30 years of farming they sold the farm and moved to Neillsville. Eileen cleaned houses and cared for her mom and aunt. Eileen was a member of Happy Homemakers Club, and was actively involved in the Happy Valley 4-H Club with her children. Eileen was involved with many groups at her church throughout the years. She belonged to the choir, the Ladies Aid, the Lights Club, and OWLS. Eileen was a woman of great faith and abundant love. She will be sourly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her greatest work in her life was her investment into her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Eileen is survived by her four children, Barb (Ron) Allen of Altoona, IA., Linda (Ron) Rogus of Neillsville, WI, Sue (Colyn) Luchterhand of Janesville, WI, and Cheryl (Steve) Grade of Fond du Lac, WI. Eight grandchildren, Carrie Birkett, Amanda (David) Fugate, Amber (David) Siler, Megan (Brock) Jones, Nicole Grade, Ashely (Brandon) Vande Slunt, Corey Allen and Alexis Minson, Breanna Allen and Mike Lenox. 13 great grandchildren Marissa, Kamdyn, David Ffloyd, Ahnna, Aubrey, Penny, Evelyn, Oliver, Madison, Kinzley, Emily, Hadley, and Chloe. Her nephew Fred, and some cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Bell, two precious angels whom she never met on earth but are now reunited in heaven, her father William Hoffman, her mother Dora Hoffman, her brother Melvin Hoffman, and some aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing/ visitation will be held Thursday September 5th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, WI. Funeral Services will be held September 6th, visitation at 11:00 with funeral at 12:00 at St. John's Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. A meal with follow at St. Johns.

We would like to thank The Liberty House of Fond du Lac, for the wonderful care they gave our mom over the past 10 months, and their hospitality and caring for her and her family during her last days. We also want to thank Compassus Hospice in Neenah, WI for the care they gave our mom.
