Eileen D. Bergstrom

Eileen D. Bergstrom, 80, of New Hartford, passed away after an extended illness on March 31, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home. She was born March 29, 1933 in Yorkville daughter of the late John and Stella Bush Roback and graduated from Whitesboro High School. She married George Bergstrom on Sept 3, 1955 at Holy Trinity Church, Utica. Eileen was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, She enjoyed crocheting , crafting, cooking, shopping and spending time with her family at camp. She is survived by her husband George of New Hartford, her daughter and son-in-law Karen and David Litz of Clinton; her grandchildren Donald, David, Jenna, Hannah, Christopher and Taylor; great grandchildren, Madison, Cameron and Michael; her sister and brother-in-law Joan and Todd Jaskolka, Clinton, a brother-in-law Eugene Stolarzyk ; a daughter-in-law Mary Bergstrom and several nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend Marilyn Slivinski. She was predeceased by her son Aaron and a sister Bernice Stolarzyk, The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of the Birch Unit at the Presbyterian Home for all of the care given to Eileen. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford and at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
