Mary Eileen Blevins went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 29, 2025 after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted and active member of Shady Valley Church of Christ. She was a loving stay at home mom and homemaker for her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Keith Blevins and her first husband, and father of her children, Teddy McQueen; her parents, Edgar and Pauline Steagall; her sister Helen Winters, and her brothers, Wayne Steagall and Durward Steagall.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Wendy Spencer (Tony) and son, Teddy “Tater” McQueen (Joannie). She was a very proud grandmother to Ethan McQueen, Chance McQueen, and Noah McQueen. She is also survived by her brothers, Paul Steagall (Sue), Monta Steagall (the late Hazel), and Leon Steagall(Barbara) and one sister, Elsie Hutchinson(Jerry); her special friend of many years, Dora McQueen and several special nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her little baby dog, Teddy Bear who she loved dearly, and will continue to be a part of our family.
Eileen will be remembered for her faith, kindness, and love for her family.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Shady Valley Church of Christ with Tom Reece officiating. The graveside service and burial will immediately follow at Blevins Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shady Valley Fire Department or Blevins Cemetery. The family would like to thank everyone that came by, texted, sent cards, brought food and supported our family through this difficult time.
